When Pigs Fly Lapel Pin5Allison ScottMarch 23, 2010We started ordering the Flying Pig pins back in 2007 to use as a fundraising tool after my daughter found them on your website. Our son, two-time US National Mens figure skating champion and 2010 Olympian, Jeremy Abbott, uses the phrase Pigs Can Fly to describe his rise in the sport and to encourage other skaters by letting them know that “Anything is Possible.” The pins are sold with 100% of the $10 proceeds going to support boys who want to figure skate. (We donate the base cost of the pins in support of this effort.) Over the past few years, the pins – now coupled with a clothing line Jeremy’s sister, Gwen, developed called JerWear (www.pcfclub.com ) – have helped raise thousands of dollars for various clubs around the country. The pig pins are worn by fans literally around the world, and in their minds, seeing the pins means support of Jeremy and what he believes in – anything is possible. We truly appreciate the support of Stock Pins. Everyone there has worked hard to rush orders for us, find pins when they were out of stock and to make sure the service is above and beyond. As someone in the service industry working for a historic Five Star resort, I truly appreciate and continue to do business with companies that treat their customers effectively, efficiently and with great communication and attention to personal detail.
