To express my appreciation, personalized letters were written to selected staff members for their efforts toward improving our privacy-related procedures. The letters listed the areas in which they made a noticeable contribution and thanked them for playing a key role in our privacy practices. I attached a pin to the corner of the envelope and hand delivered it, thanking each staff member in person for being a ’guardian angel’ over privacy of our member and staff records. My goal was to reinforce and raise privacy awareness and the response to the gesture was very positive |  | |
