Since the "Anchor" was the first Christian symbol (even before the cross), we decided it would be appropriate to present every new member with an "Anchor" attached to a royal blue ribbon... to be worn on the lapel. We also have larger anchors on our choir robes. Everyone loved the lapel anchors and blue ribbons.
